Annette Meagher

   

Public Relations Specialist I 

 Annette Meagher joined our team as a part-time employee on February 5, 2008 and provided assistance in water quality and public outreach programs. Her position focused on the implementation of U.S. EPA National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Phase II Requirements; coordinating storm drain labeling events and watershed sign installation.

In August 2009, Annette was promoted to the Public Relations Specialist position which expanded her duties to include providing support services for the Hamilton County Stormwater District and expanding communication with member jurisdictions and their citizens

Annette earned a Bachelor degree of International Relations from the University of Cincinnati and directly after worked a summer in Costa Rica for the U.S. Foreign Commercial Service as a Trade Assistant. Being exposed to their strict national standard and passion to preserve the environment, she quickly gained appreciation for the field and is currently attending Cincinnati State Technical and Community College for Environmental Engineering.

In the Spring of 2007,  Annette successfully completed a Field Technician Internship for Warren County Soil and Water Conservation District and is now fulfilling her Environmental Survey and Drafting requirements.
