Nathan R. Sturm

   
Urban Technician Nate Sturm is the newest Technician for the District. His responsibilities include monitoring development sites for Sediment & Erosion Control as defined in the Rules and Regulations of Hamilton County Governing Earthworks. He regularly works with developers to ensure they incorporate
Best Management Practices into the work schedule on the sites. His duties also include responding to complaints and helping landowners cope with drainage and erosion problems on their property.

Nate graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a B.A. in English Literature. Prior to his present duties, Nate worked as the Coordinator of the Northern Kentucky Solid Waste Management Area. His responsibilities included keeping the three counties of Northern Kentucky in compliance with state and federal regulations. He was also responsible for organizing educational programs, stream cleanups, and grant writing. Nate is pleased to be working to protect the creeks and streams in his native Hamilton County.
