Monday, August 11, 6:00-7:30pm
HCCD Training Center (2710 E Kemper Rd.)

Learn how to plan, prepare, plant and maintain your own pollinator friendly "pocket prairie" while reducing the amount of lawn you need to care for. Converting some or all of your lawn to pollinator friendly habitat provides a variety of environmental benefits, from improved soil health, cleaner stormwater, and increased biodiversity. It can also look beautiful, reduce time and energy spent mowing, and reduce water and fertilizer needs. Program participants will receive a special discount code for native seed to get them started!
