Envirothon & CFW Info Night
Are you a high school teacher looking to get your students more involved in environmental learning and community impact opportunities?
Attend this info session to learn more about the Ohio Envirothon and Caring For Our Watersheds. These two contests offer students & schools a chance for either monetary awards or travel opportunities.
Envirothon is an environmental, academic competition that is a combination of in-class problem-solving and field tests. Teams start at the local level with the chance to move up to the national competition.
Caring For Our Watershed is a local, national, & international contest where students submit proposals for sustainability projects. The Ohio chapter selects 10 teams that receive mentors and funding to implement their community projects. Later, students present their projects in front of a panel of judges at the Cincinnati Zoo where they can win up to $1,000 for themselves and their school.
To learn more about how you can get your students involved in one or both of these contests, register here to attend the info session by October 30th.
