Water Quality Citizen Science

Picture
There are several volunteer water quality monitoring labs in the region that the District supports. Collectively, these labs analyze several hundred water samples almost every month. This data is valuable, and couldn't be collected on this scale by professionals. Whether you're interested in collecting samples from local rivers and streams or analyzing samples in the lab, all experience levels are welcome!
If you want to be part of this regional water quality monitoring citizen science effort, contact one of the lab managers directly by clicking on the lab logos below or contact [email protected] to be paired with a volunteer water quality lab near you.
