Live Stake Pick Up

Pick Up instructions 

  • Location: Hamilton County Soil and Water Conservation District (1325 E. Kemper Rd. Cincinnati, Ohio 45246).
  • Please pick up live stakes on the day you requested, May 8th or 15th. 
  • We are doing pickups in 30 minute increments to ensure social distancing requirements are met. Please be sure to arrive at your scheduled time. If you forget what time you are supposed to pick up, please email Sara Fehring. 
  • Our office can be a little tricky to find. Please take a look at the map below. 
  • Please pull right up to the side walk outside the office door, we will come out to meet you. Staff will be wearing a mask and taking the necessary precautions.

Tool Return Instructions 

If you borrow tools it is extremely important that we get them back by the following Wednesday. There will be a large tote in front of the office for tool return. You will be able to return the tools at a time that is convenient for you. 
May 8th pick up - tools must be returned by Wednesday May 13th.
May 15th pick up  - tools must be returned by Wednesday May 20th.

    Required Questions

    Please complete the following questions prior to the day of your pick up.

    ​By submitting this form I understand and assume the risk involved in the planting of live stakes and agree to the following statements:
    1. I, or any other person that I involve in this activity will only install  live stakes on a property if I have consent from the property owner.

    2. I, or any other person that I involve in this activity plan on taking necessary safety precautions when installing live stakes, including but not limited to having one other adult monitoring the installation and my safety at all times.

    3. I, or any other person that I involve in this activity agree to practice social distancing and other safety protocols related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) put in place by my local Health Department and The Ohio Department of Health during the installations.

    4. I, or any other person that I involve in this activity understand the we are installing the Live Stakes of our own interest and volition. The Hamilton County Soil and Water Conservation District (District) have no further involvement with the installation once the live stakes requested have been picked up. I release the District, the District Staff, and the District Board of Supervisors from any liability arising from the installation.

The Hamilton County Soil & Water Conservation District is a legal subdivision of the State of Ohio responsible for the conservation of natural resources within Hamilton County, Ohio. We have a special emphasis on soil and water with a focus on assisting landowners in planning and applying conservation practices on the land. HCSWCD is dedicated to the sustainable use of our natural resources and to encouraging positive behavioral changes that produce a higher quality of life for our citizens. The District assists all Hamilton County residents, schools and jurisdictions through our free services and dynamic partnerships that continually provide innovative solutions for the challenges of our region.
