​Soil Fertility Testing Kit

We partner with PennState Extension to provide soil testing services to Hamilton County, Ohio Residents.
Basic fertility testing is $10 payable directly to PennState Extension. Forms can be printed from the links below.  
Dry soil samples should be placed in a zip style plastic bag.  The zip style bag will need the following information written on it:

• Name:
• Sample ID or Field Name:

 The PennState Extension Soil Test Order Form must be included with the soil sample sent in the plastic bag.

• Collect the sample in the same manor as noted on the Soil Sampling Instructions.
• Allow sample to air dry before placing in the zip style bag.
• Place approximately one (1) cup of dry soil in the zip style plastic bag.

Mail both the soil sample, completed order form, and check for test to Penn State at the address listed on the order form.
​As part of this program,  test results generated for a Hamilton County, Ohio Residents will also become available to the District to provide free consultation to the resident. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
